This Privacy Policy describes how Abogo, Inc. collects, uses, and protects your personal data through Grabalo AI, our desktop software and services.

At Abogo, Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), the creator of Grabalo AI, we take your privacy seriously. This policy applies to data collected via our Electron-based desktop app and does not cover third-party services.

1. What This Privacy Policy Covers

This policy covers data provided directly by you and data collected automatically via Grabalo AI. It excludes third-party services you may access through our platform.

2. Information We Collect

  • Personal Identifiers: Name, Email address, Device ID, IP address
  • Usage and Technical Info: Device type, OS, App version, Timestamps, Active apps, Notification settings
  • Meeting Data: Metadata, Transcripts, Summaries, Calendar info (with permission). If you grant calendar access, the app may read, create, and update calendar events on your behalf.
  • Important: No raw audio recordings are stored
  • Payment Data: Payment method (via provider), Billing address
  • Communications: Support requests, Feedback, Surveys

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate and improve Grabalo AI
  • To detect and transcribe meetings
  • To provide summaries and sync with calendars. If you grant calendar access, the app may read, create, and update calendar events as part of its features.
  • To communicate updates and support
  • To enforce our Terms and comply with legal duties
Important Note Regarding Google Workspace API Data:

We do not use any data obtained through Google Workspace APIs (including but not limited to Calendar data) to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or machine learning models. Data from Google Workspace APIs is strictly used to provide you with the direct functionalities of our service, such as calendar syncing and event management, and is handled in accordance with Google API Services User Data Policy.

4. How We Share Your Information

We never sell your data. We may share with:

  • Service Providers: Storage, transcription, authentication, payments
  • Authorized Third Parties: Only with your explicit consent
  • Legal & Compliance: When required by law or to protect rights
  • Business Transfers: In case of merger, acquisition, or sale

5. Your Choices

You can:

  • Access or update your profile in the app
  • Revoke permissions via google settings, including calendar access at any time
  • Request data deletion at javier@grabalo.ai

6. Data Retention

We retain your data only as needed to provide services and meet legal obligations. Transcripts and summaries are deleted upon account deletion unless otherwise required.

7. Data Security

We use encryption, access controls, and secure authentication. Still, we encourage users to protect their login credentials and sign out after use.

8. Children's Privacy

Grabalo AI is not for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children and will delete it if discovered.

9. International Users

Our services operate in the U.S. By using Grabalo AI from outside the U.S., you consent to your data being transferred and stored here.

10. Your Privacy Rights

  • California: Request access, deletion, or disclosure by emailing with "California Privacy Request"
  • Nevada: Confirm opt-out by emailing us
  • EU/UK/Switzerland: Exercise GDPR rights including access, rectification, deletion, etc., via "GDPR Request" email

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. If major changes occur, we'll notify you via the app, email, or other means. Continued use means you accept the new policy.
